NAHRS Award for Professional Excellence: Nomination ProcessEvery NAHRS or MLA member is invited and encouraged to submit a nomination for the NAHRS Award for Professional Excellence, formerly the NAHRS Librarian of the Year Award. The nominee must be a member of NAHRS. Designed as an acknowledgement for a librarian in mid-career, the Award recognizes outstanding leadership and exceptional librarianship in meeting the information needs of nursing and allied health professionals. The Awards Committee will review the nominations and make a recommendation to the NAHRS Executive Board. Presentation of the award will take place at the NAHRS annual business meeting. To nominate: Send a letter of nomination accompanied by a curriculum vita/resume or other suitable biographical and career information of the nominee to the Chair of the NAHRS Honors Committee.
